Achievements By NCC of the Vidyalaya

NCC Over Years

Vidyalaya reached ninth position in quality result among the top10 Navodaya Vidyalayas in the country with aggregate score of class X and XII together giving a school average of 75.57%  during 2002-03.

 

 

 

Year2001-2002

Master Justin Jacob of Class IX participated the ‘Thal Sainik Camp’ (TSC) held at New Delhi during 2001-02, which is equivalent to RD Parade.

Year 2002-2003

  • JNV Troop has won the Best Troop Award and got the Rolling Trophy for 2002-03 during ATC Camp. 
  • CPL Roshan Mathew got the Best Cadet Trophy during 2002-03 and CPL Darma K Sebastian secured the best Cadet Trophy in the Directorate of Kerala and Lakshadweep Unit.
  • Kumari Helen M Jacob and Kumari Anamga A Rani attended Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) held at New Delhi

Year 2003-2004

  • Cadet Jins Kurian and Cadet Anoop Scariah had participated in the All India Trekking Expedition held at Maharashtra during 2003-04
  • JNV Troop has won the Best Troop Award and got the Rolling Trophy for 2003-04 during ATC Camp. 

Year 2004-2005

  • Kumari Darma K Sebastian of Class IX participated in the RD Parade held at New Delhi on Republic day and she secured Cash Award and a Gold Medal.
  • CPL Harisha Ismail got the Best Shooter Certificate during the NCC firing camp at Changanacherry on 13th August 2004 and Best Cadet Certificate during 2004.
  • Cadet Harikrishnan K and Cadet Sarath K S of Class XII secured a Cash prize for their best performance in Class X CBSE examination.
  • CPL Justin Jacob, CPL Lini Susan Ipe and CPL Deepthy Thomas have got the Professional Course Admission under NCC quota.

Year 2005-2006

  • J.N.V Troop had participated in the District Level Republic Day Parade held at Kottayam and secured the 1st position in March past..
  • J.N.V Troop secured 1st  position in drill competition held at the CATC.
  • Cadet Shela Jose was awarded the Best Cadets Award among the JD/JW cadets in the camp.
  • Cadet Greshma Mariam Mani was awarded a cash prize for securing the highest mark among the NCC cadets in the AISSE- 2006 CBSE exam by Kerala Lakshadweep Directorate

Year 2006-2007

  • CPL Anu Antony attended the TSC-2nd camp which was held at Kozhikode from 1st August to10th and got selection for TSC 3RD
  • JNV JW cadets participated in the Independence Day Parade and achieved 1st position in the drill competition.

Year 2007-2008

  • Cpl. Anu Antony, Cpl. Steby Varghese (2006-07) of JNV Kottayam received cash awards and trophies for Best Cadets Awards from Dy. DG NCC. Each best cadet got cash award and medal for their best performance.
  • Cpl. Prem Shanker received two gold medals for Firing in the academic year 2007-08.

Year 2008-2009

  • Cdt. Alphiya Joseph had been selected as the best cadet in the camp CAWATC held at Govt. College Nattakaom from 09th May 2008 to 18th May 2008 and won a gold medal. Cdt. Parvathi, Mirna and LCpl. Seena Mathew had won Silver Medals for their best performance in the Master Ceremony.

  • LCpl. Seena Mathew, Cdt. Parvathi Rajiv and Cdt.Dona Baby participated in the Inter Bn.TSC competition and got cash prizes and silver medals.
  • LCpl. Devakrishna had been selected as the best cadet in the camp CAWTC held at Govt. College Nattakom from 22nd May to 28th May 2008.
