Farming and Gardening by Children
JNV Kottayam is maintaining a variety of gardens like vegitable garden,medicinal garden,Rajeev Gandhi Smruthivan etc.We are also planting a variety of plants and trees in our campus. Students are given intensive training in agricultural and other related activities.Every year we are cultivating Topioca ,Banana,Pineapple etc in our campus.The fertilisers for these plants and farms are provided by the vermi compost plant maintained by our children.
Garden of Medicinal Plants
The medicinal garden is planted with precious medicinal plants.In addition to this the children are maintaining vegetable garden.
