LODGING FACILITIES

The facilities to students include free boarding and lodging. The school provides residential facilities for boys and girls on campus. All the hostels are well equipped and have all the facilities that help the children live and grow in an environment that they can identify as their home. Trained housemistresses and housemasters, along with a whole range of support staff, are entrusted with the well being of the children and to ensure that the needs of our pupils are fully met. The school places much emphasis on the importance of students taking responsibility for themselves, and for each other, within a very carefully supervised framework. For our children, the hostel is A home Away from Home and as such provides every facility for study, leisure and a flourishing sense of community, which can add so much to school days and later life.
The sense of security and loyalty engendered by the hostel life finds expression in many ways, and creates a healthy desire to excel in competition with the other houses, whether on the sports field, in arts or in academic attainment. Friendship and mutual support play a large part in school life, and this is reflected in the boarding accommodation we provide. At the junior level, students stay in dormitory style accommodation.
The school strongly believes that the values of caring, sharing, and community living must be inculcated in our students from the very beginning. As the children move to senior classes, they are provided shared rooms.
Students are accommodated in Eight Dormitories (Four for Boys & Three for Girls and One for Kiddies Boys).
A separate transformer is installed in the campus to provide sufficient supply of electricity.15 KVA generator supplies electricity whenever there is load shedding.
Safety and Security Our Prime Concern
THE most important part in a residential school is the safety and security of boarders . Needless to say that parents are more concerned about their ward whenever their beloved one is away from their lap. Keeping this in view we are following some safety measures for the well being of the children while staying in the campus.
The Vidyalaya administration has formed a safety and security committee to adopt immediate safety measures to be taken .
- We have security briefing as a regular part of morning assembly.
- Children are kept fruitfully busy so that they may not indulge in indisciplined activities.
- Whole campus is properly utilized, proper pathways are created and flood lights are being installed around every nook and corner in the campus so to avoid any unfortunate happenings.
- Except parents, no outside visitors are allowed to visit the children. Parents are allowed to visit their wards only on 2nd Saturday of every month.
- Meeting with respective house masters and mistresses are organized to brief about the child.
- To keep children actively involved in academics and co-curricular activities we have streamlined and systematized daily routine.
- We always try to develop and improve a good social, authentic and environment friendly educational climate in the campus so that children feel themselves at home, safe and secure in the campus.
- Every child is paid proper attention. It is also enquired, if he/she is looking upset. He/she is guided, counselled and timely help and assistance are provided to him/her.
